We return with our Thank You Thursdays to say a huge Thank You to local affordable builders Adderstone Living for an investment made worth of upwards of £10,000.

Thanks to the donation we have been able to make a host of improvements to our facilities and purchase lots of new equipment to enhance our members playing experience. This includes refurbishments to both sets of team and officials dugouts on both pitches, repainting of our club containers, two 35m pitch divider ropes, sets of junior and senior hockey sticks, 2 mini pop up Forza goals, one senior mobile pop up full size goal and kit bags.

Club chairperson, Alison Gordon said: ‘We compete at a high level and provide a great centre for people to learn, develop and hone their hockey skills. This kind donation from Adderstone Living is greatly appreciated and will help our players to continue enjoying hockey at our amazing facility.’

A piece of vital equipment that also has been bought from the investment is a pitch side defibrillator. To ensure we are fully trained to use the defibrillator, The Parks and our local authority, North Tyneside, provided CPR and defibrillator training on Monday 5th August. We had a great turnout with representation from every club team and members from our exec.

This wonderful investment has come at a great time and the club is excited to enter the new season with this great support.
